Thorpe Worn Sandstone is a highly durable buff grit stone, well suited to English winters and high traffic. The stone undergoes an intensive process where the edges of the stone are hand chipped and the surface of the stone is worked, exposing an open-grain surface. This creates a ‘foot worn’ look and feel. This popular sandstone from Yorkshire has a coarse grain that provides an extremely anti-slip surface.
